I did too but I was lucky enough to have a condo with plenty of shelf space. I don't have any problem wearing clothes that have been folded properly, but everybody has their own way of doing things and that is what the new drivers have to figure out for themselves.

That's the rub and the genesis of Sunnie's question. If I ditch the hangers I lose a lot of the usable space in the hanger closet because of the bunk step. I suppose the step is removable and I could put aa plastic three drawer three drawer system there. However, given that Amos is a couple years old I'm not sure how long Hogan will have me with him. I'm also reluctant to do any real surgery, even cosmetic because he is a Company truck.
I'm thinking hangers in the closet, plastic drawers with no slip feet under the bunk for the undergarments and stacking the jeans on the top of the closet.
Now, where do I put the disco ball and lava lamps?Lonesome, Vilhiem and Rock 'n Roll Relocater Thank this. -

You will learn over time to make the most of any available space you have. If using hangers is what is best in this truck, then by all means use hangers. I used to keep a change of clothes laid out flat under my bunk so they would not be wrinkled at all in case I had some reason for it. Otherwise I never minded the 'fold' creases in my clothes because at lest it showed I was folding them and cared about my appearance.

I had the same conundrum on how to maximize the vertical space in the hanger closet. I ended up stacking three Rubbermaid's, and that worked well for me.

You named your truck? Interesting choice of names...
I just call mine "old girl..." Which is weird because it's a 2016.

Sunnie named him. "It's a good farming name, means 'burden.'".truckon, Kev's Sunshine and Vilhiem Thank this.

@BuckeyeKev You'll have to switch power units as soon as you get acclimated to the Prostar. Murphy's Law. Then you can whine like the rest of us when we're assigned a different tractor (O/O's are exempt from these comments, naturally)!

You're losing a ton of storage space by having the second bunk folded up, but I understand. What using a length of pvc pipe across the top, widthwise and using it to hang stuff. I like nice shirts too, but to be honest, after a while I start choosing comfort(not shabby or bum looking, mind you) and I wear a darn hoody most of the time anyway lol
Vilhiem and Kev's Sunshine Thank this.
