In all honesty anytime you rent or lease a trailer, you are paying for tires and brakes, and any other maintenance, just billed differently on some.
Where can I rent a 53 dry van with maintenance that's affordable?

Bowman leasing. We're renting 2 new vans. It's right around 400 a month for each + 3 cents a mile if you opt for them doing all maintenance. Easy to deal with.

Bowman is a fairly cheap trailer place to lease from.

My advice- if you are planning to work as O/0 for few years or more, go and buy yourself a trailer, new or used, doesn't really matter. Leasing/renting is just waste of money. Renting is ok just for few months to get on your feet.
