i am to lazy to get out and set up the antenna---guess i need the cube thing
-
Got lucky, and bought a Qtube from a retired o/o who lived down the street from me.
Works great,I love it!!!!!!!!!! -
What is a Qtube?
Mikeeee -
It's the cube thing you were talking about.
You mount it on the back of the cab. -
Duh... it's the thing Qtips go on.
-
You now need a digital converter box or a digital antenna. The cb/tv/amfm antenna will not pick anything up without a digital converter box.
-
And the frequencies are different now since the switch to digital, so a truck that is more than a couple years old will NOT have an antenna that is built for the new channels.
-
Newer digital tv's work will tune without a box or digital antenna. I'm in SLC right now, tv is hooked up to the truck coax... 35 digital channels and 5 analog.

driving a 2005 Freightshaker...tv hooked up to truck antenna 35 digital channels tuned in, in SLC.
