Well ill be loading up first thing in the morning headed for homer city,pa to the power plant job for a Monday drop off just sucks being last min ill be looking for a load with all the wolves come Monday.....

 

140 Miles from house, deliver Monday 6 mi from the house. Then idk yet...

 

I hauled quite a few OD loads to that place last year. I hear it is completely different looking now only a year later. The good thing is that u will be close to Pittsburgh and Ohio, so u should be able to find something.

 

I've hauled kiewit loads out of New England up there, from one power plant to another....

You'll pass right past my house getting there most likely, I used to haul coal into Homo city...

 

night one of tahoe is in the books and it must of been great cause i still have a buzz at 7 am... talked to my dispatcher about coming back on monday and he said oohh dont worry about that i have you scheduled for tuesday gotta say im treated great at system cant complain one bit... hopefully night 2 will bring a little more "success" my way....

 

Home until tomorrow when I head out toward Baltimore.

 

Ya I looked on the board last night looks like everything is about $2/mi I can load coils back to Houston for $2,700 says they have five loads so I'm sure I won't get anymore out of them.....

 

Going go a graduation party this afternoon.

Working my side job Monday and Tuesday morning. Loading sod Tuesday afternoon for Dickinson, ND.

 

Well we are here in Milesburg, Pa. for the wkend.
Unlded. today at Penn. state. joy of joys..
The off load guy says piece of cake for you guys, except the last turn but you guys can make it..
I ask let's go for a ride and check it out. So me and one of the other drivers go and look at the turn.
Step it off and look around. I tell him it's not happening. Well why not the other trucks made it in.
How long were they? Well they were flatbeds 53' long.
Well I'm 82'6" long. He's 78' and the other guy I think is 79" long with a 285" whellbase.. Not happening.
Look at next drive, a little more room, but not really good.
Signs and light poles in the way.
I tell him use the crane companies day cab and it will be piece of cake.
Oh, no we can't do that.
So we battle for 45mins. and get the shortest trk. in the turn.
So he says he made it your turn..
Ok, I try and try, nope not happening.. Long story short they bring the day cab over for me and the other guy.. 15 mins. both our trls. in the unld spot.
