Where is everyone #2!!

Gotta love getting to the factory and getting two out of three buildings loaded then getting a call from the customer asking what the hell we were doing over there we needed to load at another one 3 hours west. Problem is they sent an Email on Friday that said we were not to load anywhere except the factory I woke up at until it was out of product.

still in Palestine no load nothing paying trying to get a load up to Indiana so i can grab one of our high dollar oversize loads headed back to Maine but its not looking very likely. i got on landstar broker and found one goin to vegas paying 2.30 a mile including dead head down to houston but dispatch shot it down even though i couldve loaded today and had it off by Wednesday so i take it vegas is a dead area.

also considering swapping out this '53 step for a '48 flat just aint pulling its weight the last 3 months all i've moved in probally the last 4 months is flatbed freight not even LTL's kinda hard justifying the step anymore

any thoughts? SHC? are u happy u made the switch back?

We had same thing when another driver and I stayed overnight at a dairy in Compton, California. We walked out the gate to find something to eat and the older black female security guard said "You boys make sure you are back before sunset, nothing good happens around here after sunset".

 

Sitting at the house listening to some David Allan Coe and drinkin' a lil Jack Daniels as I relax from a hard days work.
