I see your point. They all kind of fall into the same category with me. Suck ### truck stop food.

I'm with SHC. They have some variety and it is relatively healthy...or at least if you make the right choices. Far better than fast food or 99% of TS restaurants.

Actually, Jared lost weight because he lived two miles from Subway and walked there and back every day. true ! He also always ordered a 6" sub, one of the low cal ones with either no dressing or just vinegar. I used to work at one part time to supplement my other lousy full time job. It's okay, but I always look to see if the food is covered before I order. They're supposed to keep lids on other than a couple hours during busy times otherwise the cooling system isn't effective. If you really want to eat healthy any of their subs are also available as salad, they're just supposed to cut up the meat and put it on lettuce in a bowl rather than bread.

If I go to New England, I'll be eating bologna sandwiches and crackers. I won't be able to afford anything else with the crap rates out there lol

The thing about a healthy lifestyle is that it takes a little discipline ALL the time. For example, a daily walk could be a big step for a lot of drivers. However, it needs to be coupled with better diet choices. Each mile you walk burns about 100 calories. If you follow up a 1 mile walk with a 1200 calorie big mac you didn't do much good. Eat a piece of fruit like an orange in the morning to get your metabolism going. Eat a sensible lunch and dinner, like a 6 inch sub and lo-cal chips. Replace soda with water. There are lots of small changes that you would hardly notice over time.

That being said everyone has to make their own choices. I do my best to be healthy, but I will be ###### if I am going to quit drinking beer. If you refuse to give up the golden arches that is fine. You just have to fine with that big ### gut.

Unloaded in Denver now I'm headed for the house. The dispatcher I've got hired called me this afternoon called me with a round trip to Houston that's got to be there Tuesday asked if I wanted it or give it to somebody else. I'll take a couple days playin with the kids and wrestling the wife over three weeks with these #### drivers any day.

What crap rates, I'm doing great. Heading to Romulus MI for Friday. I might just go back to Mass if I can find the right load. I emailed our favorite agent in MI, so hopefully he has a good load for me.

That is the truth. I am down 60 pounds since last November. You just have to make better choices. Choose to eat better, choose to get some exercise and choose to invest in your future.
