Unloaded this morning at Scott AFB. Only took them 4 hours to unload 6 Humvees because the ramp they got was about a foot too narrow so we had to wait for the motor pool to bring a different one from the airport.

Then I showed up to load my refractory bricks and the 3.5' tall pallets grew to 7' tall. Top tarp them and I'm almost home now. Got a 3 day weekend, then unload at US Steel Monday and reload an OD at ohare airport headed for Wever, IA.

Sitting here in Casper, Wy. Unld. in the morning.
Saw a Midwest Western Star Wens in Ia. Yell for them asking where is Leftlane?
He replies this is Leftlane. Boy am I bad.. Haha
Unld. Fri. am and then bounce all the way to Alice,Tx. for another rig piece going to Pa. Money was way to good to turn down..
Then I need to be in Okc. the 14th to get my wife. Will be six weeks she has been home and boy do I really really miss her.
Takes me longer to tie down and put the gear away and I hate doing laundry.. Haha

he's unroll it and fold it back up till all fall fits on the trailer again and he's gonna run that 53' step as a 53'flat and load insulation or some very light LTL

Sorry I didnt see you Carl....One of them days mate! Mind today was no better..Great news about the missus coming back though mate.
Turn up at the plant to get a combine going to Sioux Falls.
Get there, and Shaun (loading guy) says he found the machine, it's just waiting on QC to finish off their deal. No problem I say.
QC comes pout with his magic clip board, and declares the machine was made wrong! Wrong rear axle, wrong tires, and so on. 50 hrs to fix it basically. I call the travel agent to keep him posted, then find out there is nothing for me until next Tuesday!!!!!! Another one of our guys comes in (who lives in Mn), to load one going to Clinton,IL.
Huh? I go to Sioux Falls, he goes to IL. He lives in Mn, I live in Mo. WTF? Me and the aforementioned travel agent have words.
Then I find out they are just going to ship the machine and sort it out later. Cool, but it's 3pm and I am IN Omaha! Got tied down etc at 3:40, and made a dash for the line.
Look over my Sioux Falls city permit, and it is totally idiotic. Absolutely no sense at all. Oh well, local cops number in the fone for the "Oops" moment.
So, looks like I am camping out in SD for the weekend, which is no bad thing as my comic book is pretty tired and need to get some jobs done to the truck. Woulda been nice to do the jobs at home though huh? Agent said there are graders, which are made in Little Rock, Ar! Apparently the drugs that the city permit guys were smoking made their way to Rochester,Mn too....
