Where is everyone #2!!

I almost got a run to Bettendorf today, but the shipper decided my rate was too high at $4.25 mile from Chicago. Oh well, got $125 mile load tomorrow going across town instead paying me the same gross $$$ LOL

 

Still trying to find pilot car. <My permit gal said she has tried 6 companies, blah blah blah. Told me to keep an eye open for pilot cars coming into the truckstop! Kinda hard to do from the back row though

Just find another OD truck and get behind him. If they stop you, just tell them he was your pilot car LOL

 

Hmmm, on DOT week? Not brave enough! Mind, I bet that Star Car would look good with a pilot car sign on it's roof.....
Bad thing is, there was another load to load in Yakima on Thursday this week, which is near enough to Sunnyside to be doable. No chance of that now me thinks.

Had to get a new Ne, going up 27 etc, then back down 71.
Vicki is dropping a load off up there now, then shooting back for me. Hopefully will be in Wy tonight so I can get an early start in the AM.
