T/A in Willington, CT going to unload 70 miles North, then back to Cincinnati if they have a empty rack ready. If the rack isn't empty, I still get paid :biggrin_25522:

Were still old school. Milk 100 in a tie stall barn. You should see how good I look with a milking stool tied to my butt.

you mean like AR decided to route me down US70 with my 12' wide plates, when they routed everyone else differently?? I came to a bridge that was 13.5' wide on that 2 lane road. Got a State Police escort for 30 miles because there were a dozen more bridges just like it. I sometimes wonder WTF these state permit office people actually do all day???

Got to @6 construction zones in Nv that were posted 14' wide, when I was 14' wide exactly! And here I was thinking I was lucky when they gave me I80 straight across....

Oh you should see some of the routes I get every week. On this current trip my route through Texas was 3 pages. The last 4 lines was from Weatherford to the Louisiana line, the rest was getting from Oklahoma to Weatherford, 670 miles while PC Miler says it's 432. And then there's Florida, two weeks ago the same load was routed I-10, I-295, I-95 to Miami. Then I get my permit and I got 27 from Ocala to US-60 to I-95, didn't count but I'm sure there was over 500 stop lights on 27. When your ready for a real good time get a permit West to East through Arkansas for a 19' 6" wide. That's why we quit going through there at all and started routing across 60 in Missouri.

Just a few months ago I was leaving Wichita, KS with a 14' wide as was another truck. Our permits were ordered within an hour of each other, the other truck got I-135, I-70, KS-27, US-36 while I was routed west out of Wichita all over southwestern Kansas before going into Colorado on US-50.

    SHC Thanks this.

Dropped my Amtrak stuff and got an ever so rare back haul to Orlando from my gravy agent. Sorry Catalina I was gonna stop by and let you give me a tutorial on my Hero3, but $$$ called. For the next couple weeks, I get to pretend to be Mike Holmes, or at least one of the contractors he tears apart in his show.

    SHC Thanks this.
