Sapp Brothers in Sidney, NE. Not by choice. My fan hub clutch decided to retire. If anyone knows if it can be locked in please post in my thread in the maintenance forum. I can probably make it to Cheyenne in the morning while it's cool outside.....if the hills aren't too big. I haven't been on this section of I80 before.

Thats also my bad habit lol... I quit for a few months but recently took it up again. I'm a sucker for some copenhagen wintergreen

It's flat all the way to Cheyenne. I wouldn't worry about it just keep your foot out of it.

Me too but my flavor is good old long cut Copenhagen.

Pretty sure this isn't regulation length for Iowa and it probably sucks on a hill.

Anyone going from DE to CA within the next week?
-
It was uphill for the last 30 miles or so, but it does look to have leveled out. I'll leave early in the morning.
I was told the hub should have holes for 2 5/16 bolts to lock it in. I'm going to stop and pick up a selection and fix it good tomorrow. Then plan for it's replacement.
*edit* After Cheyenne I have to go to Green river, WY almost 300 miles away, but I'll only have 2500# on the step. I might make it. -
Lenoir City, TN starting orientation tomorrow.
