On a side note my excavation was cut short due to rain. I'm gonna go get my loaded trailer tomorrow. I need to find something fun to do out of North Carolina.

We got close to 2 inches today.
Harvest would have been really fun this fall if we would have got even a 1/4 of that over the last couple months. -
Guys are shelling corn down here and Tomato harvest isn't even done yet. Which I've never seen b4MJ1657 Thanks this.

I've only found 2 that are worth a ####. Of course they're prostitutes just like me. We'll do just about anything as long as the dollars are right.

Soybeans are really bad and the corn here is hit and miss. We have 600 acres to custom combine that might be ok but we will see.
Prices are low and a lot of guys emptied their bins with the high prices last year. Could be a lot of corn going into the bin and not to the river. Should be interesting. -
A few weeks ago we went up to Sauk Center to the Artic Cat dealer, it was something to see some of the corn fields up along 71, one field would look decent, the one next to it would like it wasn't even good for silage.

@ Springfield, IL. I installed a new Bostrom Wide Ride II seat, was wondering what the little button on the side does... MASSAGE FUNCTION FTW !! lol, IDK, they tell me the build quality is not what it was when they first came out but it's a nice seat for $820 from Vander Haags. Sure beats the stock one with 830,000 miles on it.
SHC Thanks this. -
Delivered in Jerome, Idaho this morning, am now in Larami
Went to the petrolube to get truck and trailer greased, and they didn't charge me! Gave the 2 kids a 20 to split and parked up.
Load in Omaha Saturday for Clinton il.
Wife is taking about driving up to Walcott Saturday, so should be a good weekend!
Also, got a price on the herd defender moose bumper, $3500 delivered. Cheap insurance against dumb freight haulers in my book
Will get the rig into ws next week for them to write the estimate yo etc.
Martinmilskired, Sleepy68, passingthru69 and 1 other person Thank this. -
oh, and the corn here looks great, but apparently it was pretty wet in the spring and there was some replanting in low areas with bad drainage. those spots not so good. but hearing 200 bu/acre + expected averages. Which I suppose is considered an average year these days in this area.
and yes, I would be willing to park my stepdeck if anyone knows a farmer with a hopper I can pull @ $95/hr or $65 + fuel. -
If the trucks a'rockin, and the dog is outside a'barkin..................
