I milked every weekend and every night after work for a long time. Those days are long gone. Now its just a bs fest with a few beers mixed in.

 

Decatur, Illinois at the Pilot. Instead of next Wednesday my load for Oakland, California now delivers next Friday . Company is getting me some sitting around money for my trouble.

 

Reloaded a Chicago to Rochester after I left davenport yesterday, kicked it off today and I'm in the motor city grabbin' another Iowa round.

I ran thru the Lincoln tunnels when I went to the world trade center rebuild....it was easy like mark said.

 

Hurrying home to get a set of brakes on my trailer. Pushed them as far as I could got one cammed over and two others almost there funny that inspector only caught the one that is cammed over not the other two. Then I have to be back in Monticello on Sunday to reload this spool. Let's hope my shop doesn't stumble tomorrow.

 

WOOO HOOOO - Finally home, off, no load, nada, nill. A true 4 days off at my house with a load to pickup on Monday, another 14' wide going to Washington.

 

Commerce ca waiting to load aluminum the. Boogie north for a day at home tomorrow

 

Unloaded my OD in Ft. Wayne this morning and then reloaded a sign structure going to Madison, Wi for Monday morning. Wife came along so i had to put her to work fishing the straps thru the structure. I now understand why Passingthru brings his woman. it saved me at least 30min on the loading and only cost me a lifetime of nagging lol

Got next week all planned out. Unloading in Wi then going 100 miles up 39 to pick up a LTL and fill up the trailer in Beloit and both are going to Chicago area. Then loading up another fire training module to STL and then reload back to Appleton.

So far this regional stuff is kicking some butt!!!

 

Headed to New Orleans from Port Orange, FL. I have until Monday to unload. I nver should have taken this load. Too many permit issues and babysitting the load.

Lesson learned.

 

You think you got permit issues. Trying moving a 13' wide through Nm and Az.. Not happening.
Well Az. not happening. Trying for a reroute in Nm. and then they say oh you need a city permit for Santa fe.
Permit lady sends it in, Oh you need insurance papers with the app. and it takes 72 hours...WTF?
So here we sit in Amarillio. dead in the water.
This ld. is really biting me in the arse.
If we ever get the permit will come into the bottom side of Ut. and work across 70 to 15 then through the desert in Ut. to Nv. as I15 in Az. has width restrictions as well.
So much for being in Vegas Sunday evening..
