Where is everyone #2!!

That my friend is why we take the 17' wide boxes North out of Texas, through Oklahoma, Colorado, Utah, Nevada (We don't tell AZ about that little stretch) and into SoCal. AZ is a nightmare as is NM. Of course we're done with that project as the last Globemaster has flown away and that program is finished. Now the 17' wide boxes go to Washington which is a cake walk when compared.

I've got another 14' wide from Kansas to Washington on Monday but this will make the 20th one this year so it's old hat now. 1 detour in Wyoming around the tunnel and another north of Ogden through Corinne. Oh and WA still has us banned on Snoqualmie so have to go through Portland and up I-5 right through downtown Seattle with them.

It took 2.5 days to get the permit. The shipper nearly demanded that I leave even though he knew I had no permits when I arrived. Agent knew that too.

I politely refused to leave their docks lol

Strong work. Staying in the Midwest is a good idea with things being soft. Keep your deadhead down and your RPM up. And you get to see the house more often.

 

SCH how do you like the dynasis? I have noticed that System is getting a lot of new trucks lately and they are about half and half now between dynasis and tri-pac. Before they were allTri-pac so either the dynasis is awesome or thermo king pissed them off

 

Is that the place right on Highway 10?

 

a few blocks south on University, by Target. not sure if they really care for trucks in their lot, but don't much care. I've had enough Flying J slop and peanut butter sandwiches this week
