Some guy from System came over and tried to trade me trucks because he thought my Peterbilt was pretty sweet. Must have been a recruiter.

 

I've got a tanker on and I'm headed to Farmington, NM. I sure don't like this liquid hauling it goes against everything I kno. As far as I'm concerned if #### moves on my trailer it needs more chains unfortunately when I throw more on this tank the ####### just sink and don't do #### no matter how tight the binder.

 

Unless it's weather related i can't think of any reason CO wouldn't let you in at 16 8 Catalina. I wouldn't be afraid to run that down 85-14-6-61-34-385 to wherever you want to go into Kansas I usually run 40. We had a fairly regular run from Casper to Houston that was 17 10 tall and that's how we ran every time and only had to lift w couple wires.

CO didn't give a reason and it was the end of the day/week on a Friday so I'll hopefully find out something Monday morning. My guess is that they don't want me going out where Kansas wants me to come in. Saddlesore dealt with that argument between Kansas and Missouri all week.

I know I can't go down 25, too many low overpasses that don't have ramps so I'll most likely wind up on 85. I might check and see if Nebraska will let me run 80-81 into Kansas and just re-do Kansas. I can't remember an overpass between WY and York on 80 that doesn't have a ramp around so that may be my better bet.
