Where is everyone #2!!

Unloaded in Romulus and grabbed some prototype racks for Ford going to Chicago Heights. Was going to go home, but the lake effect snow machine is firing up tonight so I came on over to the new Petro here in Gary. It's not bad, with everything being new. But by spring I'm sure everything will either be stolen or have bullet holes in it.

 

Dang catalinaflyer, sorry to hear about your lights getting lifted. Were they screwed down to the deck or just bungeed?

 

Well I have stopped twice today besides the J this morning and neither place had anything. I'm on the hunt but with the VERY limited running time available if I loose much more time I won't make the Colorado line in time and as such it won't matter anyway, I'll miss dinner and that was the whole reason for my little blonde dispatcher working her arse off to get me back. I normally have some of those Chinese pieces of battery operated junk with me as well but again, out on loan to another truck who didn't have them.

 

2 X 60# magnets on each one holding them to the steel on the deck.

Just so you know, the TA and Petro carry Fox Fires. They even have them on sale. Look in the shop area if u don't see them inside the store

 

I am headed up 25 to Casper at about 6 am if your runnin down 25 I could lend one of my sets if Amber foxfires and enough batteries to get you back to Wichita.

When I need 360 degree lighting on the trailer I always use torx screws to hold my lights down, it is a pain in the butt, but knock on wood no scumbag has taken them.

 

Maybe work on a better mounting system while you're rolling. How about a short steel beam with the light mounted on it that bolts into the stake pocket. Bet the rat just took them to scrap the aluminum so he could buy a 40 or a crack rock.

 

Except that between Post Falls, ID and Ft Collins, CO there aren't many of those to be found. However I didn't know that T/A - Petro carried them so that's good to know.
