I'm sure you'll figure something out. I've found that when things don't work out how you want is often when you find new opportunities. good luck.

Uh oh, that's why my home remodeling project has cost 10 times what the contractor estimate was and gone on for 8 years now. I had it all wrong, I thought it was measure once, cut 4 or 5 times then when it's completely unusable drive to Menards and buy 2 more then cut some more.
My wife is going to be sooo happy!!milskired, Cluck Cluck and fortycalglock Thank this. -

When I hopped off here at Harmony Road at the rate it was backing up I figured it to be back at Cheyenne by the time you got there.

It is like that everyday, I would have liked to made it home but didn't have time or patience to sit in traffic. Plus the customer decided they want this piece of ####### on Saturday instead of Monday. No issues as my wife is working thur-Sun anyway.

The customer didn't want to pay for permits - so their instruction to the shipper was "cutoff anything to make it legal". I guess I woke up today in an episode of shipping wars.

Fixed my non existent brake lights on the blade trailer, God bless Trailking for putting those idiotic flat plugs on their electrical lines. Idiots.
Found a dead short between the brake light wire, and ground wire on the rear plug, so disconnected the red wires from 2 of the plugs and ran another wire. I'll let our shop figure it out after the next run.
Got a customers Range Rover up and running again after it got something spilled on the Body Electrical Control Module, and locked him out of it a week or three back. It's up and running again, and maybe the fool will take a little more care from now on.

When I worked in Minnesota my boss bought a hopper bottom trailer. I went and picked it up. No tail lights. Had Stop and turn. I was given the job of rewiring it. I tore in to it and found 6 inches of a green wire that was spliced with 10 inches of a blue wire that was spliced to 2 inches of a black wire. This trailer also has the normal 3 rear STT. So 6 lights had 3 different pig tail plugs. Needless to say I hated every single minute of that job

This is the connection from the trailer, to the slide out porch where the tail lights are. Easiest, and the best you would think, way of fixing it is to run @12' of new 7 wire cable between the plugs. Problem is, the wires branch out to run the ABS etc. I disconnected the red brake wire from both plugs, then ran a new red wire between the two. No extra plugs involved.
