Where is everyone #2!!

I am hoping they will be my Christmas day attire as well. We will be heading to Austin, TX to visit my wife's family. I would be okay with not being in shorts and flip flops, but I do want to get in 2-3 rounds of golf.

 

Some guys are never happy, complainers/whiners everywhere...

 

I parked at my second pick up last night, not wanting to be in anyone's way in the morning, I didn't park right in front of the door.....

When I woke up there was a Volvo blocking the door and comrade driver was wearing Adidas track pants. Figures.

He backed in only to find out his load wasn't ready and mine was. They loaded me first.

Got unloaded this morning in St. Augustine and then shot up here to Brunswick to grab some green tractors..... well, they unloaded the ship, but have not gotten the AG Release yet. It is now 3:30pm and the Port just closed down. So looks like I get to load in the morning IF the release comes in. Very frustrating !!!!!!

 

That sucks. Don't show up before 8am, they'll make you turn around and leave.

 

35 south to Austin,Texas...Christmas traffic, millions of non English speaking travelers heading south of the border. If I were you, I'd cut through the woods. 35 will be backed up from Laredo to Dallas.

 

Loading up my pickup truck. We have cabins rented for a spearing trip in northern MN for the weekend. Looks like it won't be very hard to keep our beer cold.

Got sick of the wind, and 3.5MPG, so just quit for the day.
Temps here are going to be between -25 and -35 with the windchill tonight, so I guess the Star will have it's first night of idling! I fuelled when I got here and drained the water separator, and got a few dribbles then nothing until I pumped the primer pump a few times! Looks like the fuel cooler up front doesn't help in wintertime in ND and SD....Gelling in the separator while driving...

Had some time extra today so I swung by cabelas in Dundee Michigan...only spent 60$, so my wife should be pleased.
