I did call Cody, but it was too short notice......I JUST managed to get it to Altoona on my own, phew!
You are 15 minutes from the house! If you dont find anything in the AM, let me know and we can get coffee! Will PM you my number, but dont call too early, I just got back from dropping the truck off in Ia! I'll bring the boys up for a Petro feast...rofl
MartinMJ1657 Thanks this. -
Bounced all the way home (612) miles total. And my shipper where my dropped trailer is called at quitin time to tell me my load ran into a snag and won't be ready until Monday and won't need to be delivered until after the 1st. Well I'm diving into the floor project on the Doonan I think I'm going to add some recessed D rings some lights maybe a winch track on the passenger side. Also have it painted. Red and Black. And a few odds and ends

I may also add a lift axle

I hope you have better luck with Doonan's than I did. I owned 3 and they were the biggest piles of cheap I ever owned aside from an XL and an ETM lowboy. I had a Doonan stretch break right at the split while I was loading a shack on it scarred the hell outta me when the axles flipped up and the shack dropped I managed to catch it about 2 inched off it ground so at least the load was saved. Doonan wouldn't stand behind it even tho it was like the fifth load ever sucked on it so my insurance totaled it and I went and bought a Doepker which has been the second best trailer I've ever bought. Makes a guy sick tho to break an 85000 dollar trailer within the first month of ownership.

It's a 99 model cross members still have good paint on them. Everything is good so far. I like the trailer. Seems well built to me

Well still in OKC. Had an issue with my 5th wheel when unlding the broke trl. off the landall. Ok lets just rebuild it. They ordered the rebuild kit and I was back at their shop first thing in the morning.
A new and learning mech. was told to remove my plate off the slide track. He has a hard time driving the first pin out. Yes he did remove the bolts.. I told him he needs the 5th wheel level and then pins will come out.
He finally gets the passinger side out and then goes to the drivers side. He was told to take an a chisel and squarely drive it out. Well enstien was at an angle and mushroomed the pin. So now it jammed in the pedstal
Shop boss was not happy. No new pins in town, so here I sit. No 5th wheel and still no trl.
The office in Ga. sees we have trls. mty in Houston. Houston does not want to give them up.
All the powers high up are on holiday..
