I'm sitting here thinking about all the things I've done in my young life in adverse weather. All harder then strapping/tarping in the cold. Or snow or rain or wind or heat. I can hear the laughter if I said I wouldn't do it if it be too hot or too cold. Also the only Northerners that leave are the Prima Donna Landstar "BCO"

I'm heading my primadonna tail back north after a couple weeks of driving rates down around Houston. Got a couple drops Monday near St. Louis

I've got 2 loads going to North Houston Pole Line coming up. I've never been empty in Houston and needed a load. I'm kinda curious if I can get in trouble

Honestly I haven't looked at rates around Houston in a long time. Every time I go down there I wait about 14 hours and load the same load back home.

Salina, KS headed for home tomorrow. If the #%#%% contractor will call me back and tell me where the job site is, I will deliver this machine Monday. Then the truck goes back to the Detroit shop for reflashing the fuel mapping

You can pretty much forget about oversize or decent legal loads from Houston to midwest unless you want to go cheap. I would say start booking partials with flexibility on delivery or try to bounce through Dallas or AR for a few extra shillings. That said, the Houston market does provide some opportunities, just not going to IL or IN.
