I couldn't get into a truckstop, but found a parking lot. Now, I can't even get out.

Well I just called the city of Baton Rouge. They are going to open the big bridge in about 1/2 hour.
Now my pilot is over an hour out. Gotta figure this out if I got time to make Tx..

Well I am calling it a day. By the time the pilot gets here, I will not not make it to the Tx. line before dark.
So I still got camp setup..

Sitting at home getting stuff together for the tax lady. Turned 94,827 miles for the year and out 253 nights. Couple numbers that stood out. 3 days with over 700 miles, not bad using an elog and a truck governed at 65. Most miles in one day 714 using 10:45 minutes of drive time, must have been a tailwind that day:biggrin_25519: January, usually a slower month, I put on 11,268 miles out 24 days. June put on 4685 miles and out 12 days.

Careful dude, you're going to piss off all the slackers who yell and scream that you can't average more than 55 mph in a 65 mph truck or do more than 550 a day on elogs. They're going to make an example of you like they did me and Lefty (Martin).

(somewhere, in a hidden compound in California, members of the U.S.S.S, or the United Slacker Steeringwheelholder Society hatch an evil plot)

I decided to hang it up, they got us rolling but it was only because they had diverted traffic to I45, so I hit the clover leaf and came back to the TS at the 101. gonna do a 34 here and try again monday.

Looking at the traffic cams, it's all jammed up going west. Glad I'm just staying here another day.
Let the herd thin out so to speak.

    SHC and BAYOU Thank this.
