Anybody know what the roads are like from Indy up to Detroit? I'm leaving home in the mornin I figure I'll run 69 up to 24 amd shoot across over to 475 and grab 75 on into the outside of Detroit. I know there's been bad weather up there.

Weather has been chappy for a couple days. Got my load re strapped (was about 30 mph winds yesterday while strapping it down) got my truck cleaned up. Put my mudflaps on my fenders. Also getting a little work done on the "Doonan Project". I decided to make myself some soups and freeze them and take them with me in the truck. Quick easy dinner. Clam Chowder and Chicken Noodle soup today

I'm a picker. I have a hard time keeping food in the truck without slowly picking. When I ran a daycab I'd bring 5 PB&J sandwiches to work every morning...eat one on the way to work, one in the parking lot waiting for the place to open, one while checking the paperwork, one while pulling out of the gate...and the last when I stop for coffee. I miss being young: I used to eat like I meant it lol

I allways carry some type of food with me. Then my wife has her stuff. Plus water and maybe some other type of legal drinks.
I do alot of job site work and we can be there all day or longer..
Plus in the winter time you never know what may happen. Like sitting on I10 in La. stuck in traffic..

Oh ice, well up here where we're at we just go ahead and run on it.

I did spot one of the Western Star like thingies yesterday, made me think of Martin, Ron and SHC. And they even have a hole cut in the roof and a generator hanging on the frame.
