I ran 287 down from Limon 2 weeks ago 14' wide, just had to detour across the dam and then past panted in Amarillo on the top of the loop.

Done for today in Clayton, NM on 87 head into TX in the AM mostly just heavy and a little wide cause I always end loaded to the driver's side an inch or two

    Thanks 05 and Ron.

    i don't think I've ever pulled a permit load up 25 into Colorado. It's always been 287 or 491.

I ran 25 to 64/87 to avoid the $500 OK permit cost and the miles are similar. I just purchased a NM annual for just that reason.

Well I got unloaded Wednesday afternoon and did a little short town run to downtown Chicago for #### good money. Spent today at home doing absolutley nothing except scraping all the ice from the driveway. Going back to downtown tomorrow for a friends wedding with a nice open bar and got a hotel room for the night ;)

Loading up Monday for Houston, and got a reload back on lined up for Firday morning coming back so I can reload again next week for Houston.

    Rugerfan Thanks this.

What hotel is it at Rob?

  7. Ya 25 has never been nice, always windy 287 has been always a nice run either direction.

I still like how brokers will route you across Amarillo to OKC then south.
Running 287 cuts miles off that route day in day out.

I am at the POE in NM on I40 still leaving at first light, finally got permits, going to be running over to Vega, up 385, then 287 the whole way, will make it to Limon tomorrow. Last time I was through on 287 I didn't hit any construction, that was in October.
