    Bloomington,ca at the yard... got to Dunnigan Pilot yesterday and then got up at 09:45 last night and pulled and all nighter to get down here and be unloaded a day early... now wait to load some gravy tomorrow. In the mean time I do believe its my bedtime

    I think if you are calling on load board loads out of there you are likely to take a beating on rates. The only way to run out to CA is to have your own freight coming back out of there.

    I had my own freight going to. Which I thought paid accordingly. I didn't know it was oversize when I called. I'd have done the load for what they had it posted for. But not since it was wide

    A lot of that stuff out there that is OD tends to go for what the legal loads do, I have never figured that out myself. The only thing that I can think of is some people will do it because they think that there is some type of prestige when you get to hang your signs and flags.
