Speaking of longest mile Od. that I have ever done was Long Beach to New Brunswick Canada. Pizza making equip. for McCain foods

 

If I would have gotten empty in CA when I was supposed to I would of had a load out of Long Beach to Brooklyn, NY.

 

Thank goodness for the delay in unlding right..

 

The city don't scare me, I use to haul meat and ice cream into that place every week.

 

Have you ever spent the day and most of the night at the G.W. bridge waiting for your night move into the city..

 

Capacity is key to many shippers. To many shippers capacity and service are the same, meaning what they value most is the ability to provide trucks when they need them. Most shippers care less about having knowledgeable drivers unless their freight requires it. Anymore many shippers don't even care that much about claims. They don't care if you damage their freight as long as your insurance pays. The key is to figure out what your customers place value on and if it works in you plan.

 

Nope, it doesn't sound fun either, but if the pay is there...........
