I find it hard to laugh at the mentally incapacitated~ at least in person I can lmao and walk away; as I dont have to watch others begin to believe in the things that are regurgitated (often slightly incorrectly) and assigned not as opinions but as fact. Similar to watching a conversion to a religion: that is based on someone's opinion of what color socks to wear on tuesdays.

lol guess I've dealt with enough know-it-alls for a lifetime hahahaha

well, at the risk of getting put on several people's ignore list, I shelled out $200 for the KR scanguage about a month ago. lol, I really like it ! my truck didn't have full gauges though, for instance did not have boost or exhaust temp. now I can get that through the scanguage and it's kind of fun just to have another toy to tinker with while driving. I dunno, maybe microblue bearings next ? :)

Nothing wrong with those trucks. But pulling an open deck it doesn't matter what kind of truck or how aerodynamic it is. Your furl economy is going to hover around 5-6 (no need for a debate) but to say that cutting overhead and raise fuel economy vs. High rates. Is asinine.

There's other kinds of scangauges out there ;)

Soon as you start trying to say how running 3,000 miles a week for $0.91 is more profitable tho....lol

If a guy has a big fancy w900 leased to swift and another guy has a Columbia what's really the difference? Nothing

Never mentioned Columbia's I dont think. Crapcadia and Prostar are the new fleet junk trucks though, no denying it. Unless of course you want to deny it, seems this may be a touchy subject for you? Never mentioned Vulva's after all......:biggrin_25525:

I gotta disagree with you Cluck, mileage varies a whole bunch with open deck depending on aerodynamics, wind conditions, speed, and weight. the load of plastic pipe I pulled out to Omaha with no wind I was getting 7.6 mpg, those utility trailers out of Missouri Valley I hit a bunch of wind and even though a light load mpg all the way down to 5.2 mpg. Most of the steel loads I haul even though heavy I'm gonna be in the 6.5 range.

I'm not gonna engage in a long fuel mileage discussion on this thread, we can do it in a seperate one if you want but the quick math is 7.6 mpg on $3.90 fuel is 0.51/mile, 5.2 mpg on $3.90 fuel is 0.75/mile. Do you want to make 0.24/mile extra ? I do.
