Okay all my flatbed brethren, my son needs your prayers tonight. If you have heard about the mudslide near Oso Washington earlier today that took out six houses and so far 3 confirmed fatalities well 2 of those houses are his grandparents and great grandparents and as of right now his great grandfather is at Harbor View in critical condition and probably won't make it, great grandmother has not been found and presumed deceased, grandfather is at Skagit with a shattered wrist and compound fracture in his leg going into surgery shortly and grandmother is at Cascade with non life threatening injuries. I just got off the phone with him and he said they have lost absolutely everything, there's only foundations where the houses used to be but the houses were pushed into the river 1/4 mile away and are completely gone.

Now they are evacuating the rest of the valley down stream because once the pressure on the mud dam breaks it's believed it's going to take out the rest of the valley where my son, his mother, brother and ex-stepfather all live.

I'm trying to get a flight out but airlines seem to think in times of family emergencies that people are made of money. I could charter a private jet for what they want for a walk-up ticket!

Don't have anything booked yet. The Victoria stuff doesn't pay a whole lot. I almost pulled the trigger on a load out of Galveston to VA but they needed to take the wheels off and the load was supposed to be 26500 lbs which would have put overweight.

Pretty open on destination but want a decent rate, the only place I can't go is back to CO, my wife won't let me for another week and half.

Toledo, Detroit, Cleveland, Ft Wayne basically checking all options but like I said the airlines seem to think when there's an emergency and you have to purchase a walk-up that you have unlimited funds.
