Not at the moment, we're all just weighing options and waiting to see what finally happens. With the mandatory evacuation and the homes lost there's limited places for everyone to go at the moment. Both his grandpas motor home and his uncles 5th wheel were parked at the farm and are gone to the river alongside with the houses, cars, cows, dogs and everything else.
Where is everyone #2!!

Thanks @saddlesore I got your text, going to lay down for a little while and see what the night brings. I have tentatively booked a flight out of Detroit but Randi also needs one of these stretch RGN's I have here taking up space and the truck god wants my KW back there so I may throw a load of plates on in the morning and just roll west.peterbilt_2005, saddlesore, dannythetrucker and 2 others Thank this.

Have ya noticed they come in 2's anymore? Get thru one "beggar zone" only to encounter another. And it may be un-american to say this, but the "God Bless' on their signs is an instant turnoff.
passingthru69 Thanks this. -
Well this bites, it's raining here and I had some small tinker things I wanted to do to the trk.
I'm a fair weather mechanic unless it's a major needs to be done type of guy.
Catalinaflyer, any more news on the family in Wa.
We all are worrying and praying for the best. -
Good luck with everything Catalina.

I parked next to a Daily truck yesterday, he had just pulled out of the shop at the TA. Got to talking with him and he had the driveshaft between the rears drop out the other day, he had the truck towed into the shop, the driveshaft took out an airbag, the leveling valve and some air lines. So for $700 plus the tow he was out of that shop, has to go to a driveline shop tomorrow to get the shaft fixed or replaced, he said that will be another $700-$1000 just for the shaft plus whatever for it to be installed. He said that he knew he had a U-joint that needed to be replaced back there, but wanted to wait to get it fixed until things slowed down a little bit. I guess he didn't realize that we are getting ready to hit the busy season soon.
