Martin, there's a couple spots you can run US 20 and save a few bucks without slowing down much. Haven't been out that way in a minute so not sure the exits. Follow a Buchanan truck, lol.

I'm @ Black River Falls, WI. 3 stops in MJ land tomorrow then find something quick and dirty back home I forgot something kinda important

    MJ1657 Thanks this.

Still nothing to update from Washington, Great Grandma has not been found. Grandma is doing okay all things considered, I think it's starting to sink in that they have lost absolutely everything. Something as simple as eyeglasses suddenly becomes a big deal. Grandpa will still be hospitalized for a couple days then will have to have more surgery later. Great Grandpa still on a breathing tube but they have brought him out of the drug induced coma and he has opened his eyes. Everyone is afraid of the impending question when he can ask because for the last 60 years that man has dedicated his every waking breath to Great Grandma. The whole family has always said he will pass within a day of her passing.

The ex is taking the week off (FMLA) to help mom and dad get through all the stuff, changing bank accounts, canceling credit cards, reporting lost passports, going to the eye doctor and the list just keeps growing. Grandpa is doing pretty well, he harassing the nurses pretty much around the clock, was having fun at grandmas expense last night, was showing everyone how if he just pushes this button the nurses come running and said he's using the insurance money to have one of those switches installed for grandma.

I guess one never thinks about how much is lost in a disaster like that. I have lost a home in a tornado but most everything was contained in one area and although a pain in the arse trying to dig through to find everything we could at least find it. In their case though the houses are completely gone, no where to even start looking because no one knows where they went, if they are buried under 20' of moving mud or washed down the river.

Anyway, nuff rambling, I've got a couple trucks blocking the gate wanting loaded this morning and my warehouse/forklift guy is out this week for a hernia so I'm going to keep myself busy with that and try to not over-think my sons loss.

TripleSix, milskired and passingthru69 Thank this.

Portland... At the first stop waiting for my 10 to be up then to go a whole 1/4 mile to the final stop. Had a good talk with my dad over the weekend and pretty sure I cured my hood fever for now. Finally feel content with what I'm doing
