Ron, look at the corners and see if there are bolt holes in the base of the building, or "D" rings there.
The ones I used to haul either had plates that would bolt into the 4 corners and you run your chains through the plates. Rohn buildings used to have the D rings at the corners on the base.
Good luck -
Looks like there are bolts holes now that you mention it, maybe they will have the plates somewhere.
Thanks everyone
Carl did you get unloaded? And do you have a load? -
Ok I see the pics now.
How about looping your chains around the bracket and then padding the chain between the chain and building and slightly bring the chains forward and back.
Then at the base lay a big dunnage board in front of the building and chain or strap the blocking.
Safety measure for panic stop..
Just a thought -
Worst case, I do have some 40' straps......

Nothing to write home about, but after years of upwards pressure on our customers we are getting them to the respectable range. Now we have a respectable minimum and reasonable rate per mile. They load late which is always helpful and they are easy enough to haul on step decks. We normally just use them to get back to Iowa, Southern Wisconsin or Western Illinois. Not a big money maker but part of the puzzle.passingthru69, milskired and dannythetrucker Thank this.

Got mty right at 5pm. The winds picked up and the trk. in front of us they were unlding and the crane light went from green to red, for wind.. I thought crap... But the winds died down.
No load yet as I was afaird to try and book anything due to not knowing if and when we would get mty.
Sent a polite and to the point email to the powers to be over this deal..
Not sure if that bridge just got fire damage or burned..
I noted every day and time on this issue for 4 days and why they would not plus the fact the winds were light Sat/ Sun , but they sent the crane crew home to Denver for the wkend.. -
Had a Midwest contractor cross my path today. Red cabover...perhaps an Argosy, pulling a 3 axle detach. Hauling a 750 somewhere. I assume he was probably hauling for the mothership. Can't imagine that was a big money maker.

You will cut your straps over that concrete building even with padding and the roof may have lift brackets, but that might be only for lifting the roof off

Did you want me to call the guy I booked this through, he mentioned that one of the other trucks fell through. 1400 on 150 or so miles loads in Longmont
