2.5 weeks. In hind sight, I should have packed all my stuff and took a renal car home. It's going to be interesting to see if I can get reimbursed for lost wages and the rental car. They are covering the hotel bill.

    The major parts....

    Tow $1500
    Clutch $1800
Input shaft, couldn't find the price
    Flywheel housing $2500
    Wiring harness $217
    Transmission cooler $660
    2 rear engine mounts $550
    Starter $428
    Retube driveshaft and misc $933

During the test drive the ECM was throwing 2 pages of codes. The EGR was leaking exhaust. That was another $2400.

  8. I would of dropped my trailer and come and got you. Dang. You need a vacation....

Yea I got them in. I'm going to have to put a suspension under them and fix a frame rail or two but for the money I gave for them I can spend about 15 a trailer and still be alright.

you may get reimbursed for rental car, but lost wages is going to be a stretch, remember you get paid on percentage of the load, no way to figure how much you lost. he may compensate you in some way, but I doubt it.

keep in mind they just dropped 15,000 into a truck repair and they received no income while it was down either.

put yourself in their place ( even though they quite a few in their fleet leased to mercer) and imagine it.

this hasn't changed your mind about getting your own has it??
