  3. I realize public attention is not a great thought. You could put the insurance company on blast. Write to a news organization or face book it.

Its not right they do your family dirty about their houses. Just a thought

The sad thing I just about bet is the other home owners are getting the shaft as well.
Look when the hurricanes hit, oh that was flood damage and you have no flood ins. Even though the roof is gone and rain water coming in from the top

Alvarado, MN for the night. I think I raised the population of the town by 10% by parking here. Fly home in the morning and grab my other trailer thats loaded for IL.

Just got caught up on my reading. That driver stuck at the coup was an interesting read. I had the wrong idea. I was under the impression that the driver loaded, got on the highway, and hit a weigh station first exit. Then, I read the part where he's 300 miles from the shipper. "Ummm, Nevermind. Just call your company and let them handle it. They will send another truck out there and hire someone to bring a forklift. That plus the price of the ticket...you're looking to be out about $3000." But then I read the part where he says that if he drops the trailer, he will get terminated. Is that company policy or is that weekend 'I know nothing, but am paid to answer the phone' dispatch? Stuck for 48 hours with no food and water? It happened to me a couple times, but I was crossing back from Canada and got stuck in US customs. And I had groceries.

Years ago, I was pulling an oversized out of Denver,Colorado. Was racing against the click to avoid the curfew, and hammered out of there. Didn't check the dates on the permit. The permit was not valid until the following day. Got caught in that scale on i76,and they shut me down at the scale. I didn't call the company asking if I could drop the trailer and go get some groceries, I asked the scale master.

Anyways, 300 miles from the shipper, 400 miles from the receiver. I know we all want to help a new driver out of a bind, but he really made it difficult to help him.
