5228 W 25th ave Edgewater, co called US Thai . not sure you can get a truck in as it's pretty residential but Google it. There are a couple a of shopping centers close though and it's not to far from I-25

It would be my authority but I run all broker freight. Haven't really thought it all the way through but if you are gonna run mostly load board freight .....Transwest took an old west coast 9 axle in a couple weeks ago that I might be able to afford.

If you are going that route I would look into an ext RGN rather than the 9 axle. 9 axles are hard to load cause there just not quite big enough for a lot of loads and too big for the others.

I am not sure about the stretch and I would like to run CA and AZ. Not sure what I could scale with the 9 axle but my guess is out west maybe 120? I would need someone with 9/13 axle experience to mentor me as I get started. Also my budget rules out 13 axle for sure. Need to sit and talk through the issues around being a 9 axle without back office support. Also thought about a 16 tire but don't think with my 4 axle I could get weight on the steer with the neck length.

If your going that route then I would look at a Cali legal 232 that's what I would like to have. In fact I kno where a pretty decent one is for a decent price. One of my buddies us selling it and went back to a 3+1 with a Jump jeep and is making way more money off the boards.

You can get a long necked. 16 wheeler but you'll have to go to Canada for it and they don't worry about expando's up there. I owned one and I wouldn't have another as there just isn't enuf gain in all but a handful of states to justify one.

Sorry to hear it Carl. I can always get you in touch with some of our multi axle guys and you can have a chat....
I am in the old weigh station just North of Albert Lea for the night. Was going to sneak up to the next rest area, then saw a full grown pull into the median, so didn't want to push it being 12'4" wide!
