Algona, IA for the night. I'll run over to Albert City and dump my load off in the morning and head home. All done until I head to Nebraska Monday afternoon.

 

Well the stars aligned this morning.
Got a call from our agent in Denver, Do you want a ld. to Ca.? Uh no. my trk is not welcomed there, ok, click
Then he calls a little later. Hey I got one of my customers needing a carbody moved to Grand Island. I'm not doing it for 1100 or 1300. He's like huh?
I knw about it and it's to cheap, Well they are offering 1800. Nope. Come up more, I'll call you back.
20 mins later, ok how soon can you be there. 20 mins.
This time it worked out in my favor, and here we sit in Grand Islad about 1 mile from Del.
Everybody thanks for the support and I will be thinking on different options also

 

What's a carbody?

 

Lower half of a crane. The unit where the cab of the frame sits on.

New Lisbon, Wi. Bounce up the road to Cambridge, Mn and kick off these soup bowls then I am going home. I have had enough of this ####.
