Got rid of the beam, and got my trailer back.
Was going to load a JD out of Dubuque to Ashland,Va, then head up to Baltimore for a rock drill heading to Co. That changed to delivering in Charlotte NC instead, then to Baltimore. Problem is, loading on a Friday heading to NC! Looks like Monday will be a long day, and Fri/Sat/Sun very easy days...###### no Sunday travel!
At least I have my beautiful trailer back! LOL

Washington Update then I'm hopping the kerosene canary and making a smoke trail southwest -

Great Grandma was found 2 days ago, got confirmation from the medical examiner based on dental records late last night so now everyone can have some closure.

Great Grandpa is able to get out of bed and sit, he says grandma is with him every night. As long as nothing happens he will probably be released to a long term care and rehab center on Monday. The family is trying to get him into the one in Arlington so he will be close by.

Grandpa Bob underwent another surgery to have a plate put into his wrist on Wednesday. He was supposed to be released yesterday but overnight after his surgery he started having symptoms of blood infection so they are keeping him and giving IV antibiotics. If they can get it under control today he will be released.

Grandma Bobbie is still healing, she has a lot of bruising against the bone and still in a lot of pain which is going to take months to heal.

Insurance company has basically told them to pound sand, they're not getting anything at this point. Some of the government is getting involved and applying pressure to them so that's a wait and see. The Red Cross has been no help but it looks like FEMA is getting some things going. Lexus of Seattle has got in touch with them and tomorrow Grandma Bobbie gets to go down and pick out a used car which Lexus is donating to them and paying the first 6 months of insurance as well as any associated licensing/registration costs.

As for their land, well considering it's under feet of mud it pretty worthless anyway but the state has condemned it.

Considering what others have lost in this disaster my family has come out pretty well, land, houses and everything else is just stuff that can be replaced but 3 peoples lives are worth more than all the rest so everyone in the family is thankful for that.

    Hey there everybody,
Made it back stateside. took sometime off at home. Will be leaving sunday heading for Williston, ND. So if your ever up there, look me up. I think I might still be able to pull flats and from what I hear and see it'll be step/lowboys and probably will be doing the hotshot deal. Take care,

    Paul.
