When I was a younger man part of my regular agenda was running straight through Elk Grove Village, IL to Denver. took a day off then straight through Denver to Cleveland ! that's more than I run in a typical week now.

I like SHC's quote, not as young as he used to be. He's like what late 20's
I met him once but me and age guessing are not good.
Heck years ago ran auto parts from Detroit to Jacksonville, drop and hook. Return back. Best time for the round was 39 hours and mother's little helpers. No more

    dannythetrucker Thanks this.
  4. Ran down slow-mo-california I-5 . Saw dunsmuir scale ripped out. Went past magic mountain on 5 saw cones blocking north bound scale. No wonder rugerfan is running all over the place. Lol. 90% of the chicken coops are under construction in Cali.

Camping at the Petro (usetabe T/A east). Sitting at 87° and smog /sun overcast.

The only one ever open now is wheeler ridge SB and Cottonwood NB... Santa Nella NB is never open really and SB has been closed since last sept. or Oct. makes it pretty nice. Olympia, Wa the Pilot... kick off final 2 in the morning then head up to Ferndale to load Ingot logs and truck back south

Ok guys, I need help.. We lded. our ld. this morning and got it weighed. Well I'm 20 # over on my steer and 100# over on my tractor tri. I only have 860# to play with on my rear trl. tri.
So do I unchain all 8 chains and binders plus the strap holding down the boom and move it back maybe 3" and hope to get the weight off.
Or move some 1/2 " chains out of the headache rack and move to the back? If so how many chains do I need to move back. I have some 10' and some 20'
Or do I just run with it and hope for the best?

Take it back and tell them it's too heavy and take it off your trailer, it's not safe

I'm guessing your loyal helped would offer to walk the rest of the way. That still leaves 20# to get rid of though doesn't it? Lol

Have the old lady ride on the tail for 20 miles. Should burn off enough fuel by then.
