  1. I have the. "Corrective lenses" restriction but on my lic. I can't put. Its for close up reading. DOT don't care. Their bit is must wear while driving.

Gotcha. Gotta admit I memorized the eye chart after the fifth or sixth time but starting to think of getting glasses or contacts, laser surgery, or something... those signs are getting legible after I'd like to have read 'em these days.

I can still truck by smell though.

  4. I did laser. But Dr. Says. As we age we will still need either glasses for reading or for distance( like some who can't get it further past arms reach.) But laser was worth every penny.

Well we kicked off our second ld. of 11 yesterday mid morning.
I am sitting 15 miles from the pickup yard and these bozos still do not have my reload number.
Seems weird that the shipper has them in their system, but I can't ld. untill I have a number.
I keep emailing our agent for new number. I think he's blocked my emails as spam or something.
All I get is, I'm waiting for the release numbers..
So much for turning and burning. Heck a turtle moves faster than this guy..
    Vent over

    Still home relaxing....not.
Got home Friday morning, fixed the rattling noise in the wife's Range Rover (bad VANOS solenoid, had a spare).
Sat and Sun were spent replacing all the bushings and ball joints on the rear end suspension of the above, independent suspension with air ride, humph. My new toy, a 20 ton press, came in real handy for that job.
Yesterday was double checking all 234 nuts and bolts that had to come off, then an eye exam. Got told I need bifocals to read up close and had cholesterol in my eyes(?). Eldest son cleaned out my headache rack and serviced the generator for me.
Did a few odd jobs on the truck today, put a new pigtail plug on, reset the trailer ABS breaker, put the new remote locking brain box in as I broke the remote and cant get just a remote. Still, $36.95 shipped isn't bad. Then found and fixed a broken wire for a fender marker light.
Off for 2 new tires and an alignment at noon, to finish off the suspension work.
Xantrex inverter/charger will be here today for the truck, as I keep forgetting to unplug the battery charger when I fire up the truck and frying "normal" chargers that I use off the generator. So will install that today maybe, although promised the 2 youngest boys that i will get in the pool with them after school today, so maybe not.
Doctors appt tomorrow morning to check my cholesterol apparently.
New oil pan coming for the LSx powered Range Rover that I call mine, to allow me to remove the lift kit and lower it back down. So that will be getting done tomorrow and Thursday.
Friday....fix whatever else is broken, as there is sure to be something that wants my attention!
Got a load today, but they didn't call me first, so someone else can take the 760TT to NC instead:biggrin_25519:

Yeah, we have decided on the Eastern Shore area. Somewhere around Fairhope, Robertsdale, Loxley, or Silverhill. It is beautiful down here, and it will be a perfect area for golf and getting some use out of my boat. Now we just have to sell out place back in Indiana before winter hopefully. Then I'll have to get my butt back to work instead of fishing all the time lol

on a better note, Peterbilt called today and they got all the studs out and replaced. Also fixed a leaking steering box seal and also found a broken shock mount on the front that I was pretty sure was broken. Only a $1,250 bill this time around. All in time to start the new gig on Friday. Loading some radioactive stuff and headed to Utah.

    Cetane+ and milskired Thank this.
