    I do a lot of short mileage '!must tarp!' Loads that pay good. Figured this will cut my time down, and save me from falling off the top of the load being in a rush.

    I got my IA load tied down and hooked behind my truck. They had my other trailer loaded for western MN so I tied that down too. Head to IA in the morning and western MN Friday morning.

    Two NO Dak and one IA load booked for next week.

    just a note, if ya don't like train horns don't stop at the pilot at exit 143 on I-29 near Sioux city, iowa.

    must be the terminus for every dang train in the US

    Drove 150 miles into the mountains to load today, should been around 80k.......

    Uh not so much, 103k so no load for me and 150 miles back to home

    Well we got unlded in a ggod time this morning and bounced back to grab another hub.
    Even got a ld. number in a timely fashion. 10 miles from the ld. out yard my email alert goes off/
    Ok my Tx. permit comes in, then it goes off again.
    Well it seems tht G.E. said no more hubs untill next Monday.
    So I call, hold tight do not ld. yet.
    Well long story short. No more hubs and they will not pay us to wait. So 2 of us have bailed.
    Now in Amarillo looking for new work.
    On the plus side we went for some goos Thai. food in town and stocked up the fridge

    I don't mind the real train horns. It's those goofballs who feel the need to blow whatever horns they got on they're solar powered trucks at 5-8 am. You're an early bird, a real go-getter, good for you. I remember your truck and one day you'll get a lil surprise at 2 am when I'm pulling in and going to sleep.
