Back in Hesston Kansas. Nice thing about a regular run is you begin to find the nice little places to eat.

It will be good to be in the U.S on the Fourth of July. Usually up in Canada. Last year while we were parked on the Canadian side of the crossing, a bunch of guys on the U.S. side set off fireworks for us and we could see the reflection on the river.

    Pretty cool...

Well we made it to the shippers place at the time they asked.. Only problem was there was 7 trks. in front of us..
Ok, no problem. Last to ld. and we roll out at 1pm.. We get our permits and look at the rtes.. Mi. has a real bad sense of humor.. Took the senic rte. in the lower section off of I69. Could not get a straight shot from US12 to US 31..
Get onto I94 in In.and was reading page 2 of the permit. No travel from 7pm to 6am on I94/I80 due to night time paving great. So here we are in SHC's backyard for the night.
Will roll in the am and try for at least Bloomington, Il by noon tomorrow for the cutoff. Can run half a day Sat. Will make the dash then for K.C.

Oh it seems they forgot a slight detail. All of the trks are getting paid for 3 days det. at 500.00 a day due to the holiday.. So that helps

Home now dropped at usg but I was a bad boy an hour over the 8hr break clock and 10min over the 14 but I was not going to stop and take 30 to get within 40 miles of the house so ran it out.

I was up in MI on 131 twice today once north then south ran 12 over to 103 into IN down to 20 and on to 31. What was ya pulling passingthru?

Home in Appleton. Took counterweights up to the U.P. on Monday then helped assemble a small crawler crane onsite then we moved over to a mine by Ishpiming on Tuesday morning and disassembled a 220 ton crawler onto 12 trailers and started moving loads back to Appleton. Off for the rest of the week and we start again on Monday.

    Home.
Delivered Monday afternoon after loading that morning, and hauled ### back to Liberal.
Arrive Liberal 1am. get up at 6am, work on the trailer to get ready to load etc.
Sat there until 2pm then said screw it and shrunk up. Got a call at 2:30 asking for us to wait 45mins so we can get a TONU instead of us leaving on our own. For that money, yep I'll wait.
2:40 we get the go ahead to leave.
Apparently GE asked us to pull another set up there, but the actual customer wouldn't give the final OK. Read some emails that Paul had received down there in Liberal, and can honestly say that one person from the Mothership was chewing butt trying to get it all sorted out before we abandoned the whole deal. 3 trucks and 6 escorts a little irritated that day....
At least we get paid for it now.
