Wow thats cutting it close on a regular flatbed if not tarped never on a stretched over weight what the heck are some thinking?

 

I don't see anyone doing it that cheap. Almost $500 in permits alone.

 

Yep, I have called that broker before. He's in the Miami Fl. area..
Allways dirt cheap.
I called by mistake on the second stretch ld.. They offered 3400.00
I told him he is still way off. He was trying to tell me things going to Houston will be cheaper than coming out.
I told him my permit costs and fuel costs are the same no matter coming or going.
He got pissed off

 

Lucky thats in a field that most know their numbers better so agree with you there but then again some poor sap may be all fire to make a buck and take it to end up running it for fuel. Sad truth

 

Loaded my partial going to OKC hoping for a second. This one weighs all of 1700 lbs

 

Love those dont you? Had one last week 3200# for 100 miles droped first part and the rest was 1200# for 650 miles old kitty cat got 6.9 mpg loved it

Just called on another stretch ld. only 250.00 apart. He's calling on it to see if they can come up with the money.
Only thing is I gotta bounce 300 miles south to come back north. That's why I put the extra money in it....

 

Well that went south. The load out guy calls me and things are going good untill he says lding is next Tues..
I'm like the post says today...
Nope his office guy put in the wrong dates.. Back to the load boards again.

 

Dang passingthru your have one heck of a day as well. DSP talked me into takeing a ld out to NJ (I knew better on a Thursday unload )I got it it off waited like 4 hrs for ld back they said head toward Pittsburgh NJ has dried up ok tokk off had planned a service area to stop and take my 8 well poor planning I missed that it was a east bound stop dang it so had to stop at one of the big pull off's (lucky its the one in front of the Denver cold storage) as I only had 5 min 10 min left and well next wb was 30 mile away.
I hate trying to rush plan anything miss the details. LOL
