Home until Sunday... Loaded some pallets of mulch yesterday in Twin Falls, ID and dropped it in Galt, Ca this AM.... Hope to not do that one again. 8 ft. tall pallets with tarp. luckily my lumber tarps were just barely long enough to reach the trailer so I didn't have a giant sail behind me. Reloaded some lumber this afternoon in Lincoln, CA headed for Tacoma.

The problem is it won't record on an endless loop. You have to format the card when it's full and start recording again. I learned the hard way with my go pro.

The Hero3's record on a loop according to a bunch of guys down in the electronic section. The older units did not record on a loop.

I was all set to spring for a dashcam, but some guy started telling me about windshield cam with two front facing and two rear facing cams or put them wherever you want. Seemed overkill at first, but having a cam outside of cab when windshield fogs up would be nice, having a cam for backing would be helpful at times, I like the idea of putting a back facing cam on top of cab to keep a closer eye on my load, records 200 hours before looping. IDK, gonna be tough to justify $2,200 for full setup but man he got me wanting one bad !
should be a good security feature too, maybe I can con my insurance guy into knocking a few more sheckel's off my bill so I can justify such a toy.Last edited: Jul 25, 2014

I have a Hero3. It doesn't record in a loop like a dashcam. I got fed up with it, but I'll play with it this weekend after reading some forums and see if I can get a suitable result.

Moriarty, nm tonight
Should be into OKC tomorrow around dinner time.
Oh in Colorado there are a bunch of routes that require escorts over 13' wide, like 287 from OK line to Limon or the route around the monument scale -
I guess i'm not sure. Ask some of the guys in the electronic section. According to them anything from the Hero2 and later will work in a loop.
I have wanted a Gopro to use in the deer stand, goose blind and especially in my spear shack this winter. If it stinks as a dash cam i'm not out anything. -
Home finally got stick with a 700 mile dead home stopped outside Pittsburg thought I had a ld but I dont have coil equipment. Then thought we had a load out of Cambridge oh but they closed at 230 but I was to far away could not get there till 330 so just said forget it and went the rest of the way home.

I made it home this afternoon. My plan for tomorrow it to goof off and have a few cold beverages. Sunday i'll tie down my drop trailer, wash the truck then head for SD in the afternoon. I'm headed to the same site I was at today. They are building a 1.7 million bushel bin and have 19 trucks scheduled for next week. The guys unloading figured I'd be first in line if I got down there Sunday night.

Bosselmans in Gramd Island. Then I should make Lake Point, UT tomorrow evening if all goes as planned. Unload Monday, then reload for Dallas.
On a side note, I got nice little run next week from Dallas to Edmonton, AB. It's inly 20' long so I've got to find some more to go with it to sweeten the pocketbook. Will be my first trip north of the border so it will be interesting. I bought a book to help it go easier
