Stopped on I84 at the Twin Rocks Diner n travel stop. Getting some porkchops and some split pea soup. Going home from here trying to wait out the coop that's open at the next rest area..it'll be the third open one I've come across today and what with third time being a charm I'm going to hold out :)
left the house yesterday am, dropped in Clifton nj, then plainfield, nj then finaled in Syracuse, ny. After that ran to alliance, Ohio and stopped there. Loaded brick this am and have been headed home since. Reloading for the city in The morning then beat feet to Vineland nj to reload for ct for Friday morning.home every nite but last nite. How I like it

Yeah, I can only imagine. I've seen the bee loads for years, but they've never paid enough for me to haul them. $3 p/m this year, I've got a 40' HC can on that paid more than that and I won't get stung!

Sitting here at the Petro in Bordentown as I couldn't get to Long Island before the receiver closed. At least I can go in on the lower side tonight and save some toll now. I really need a JFK to Miami load for tomorrow!

So today I make a rookie mistake and loaded too much product on my top deck. 4 pins at 5,800# is a bit too much. Luckily I got a buddy to take 2 of the pins off with his wrecker and going to transload them tomorrow into the empty 40' can I'm getting. It's all going to Wyoming for Tuesday delivery. I deff won't be doing this again.

I like that lower your axle...lol

As for that ART trk. There was one of their guys at the place I unlded. at today. He was saying one of their guys hit a bridge. Million dollar ld. he said. I asked him did the pole car hit? No was his reply, and then before I asked how was that he stated the pole was in one lane and the trk. was in another lane.
Now this driver telling me this, was the same one who came back to the shipper to have his ld. moved back.
He slammed the brakes and his ld. shotgunned forward. Ripping out the back base frame of an injection molding machine. Then when he untarped it, I saw where the sheet metal on the top was all crushed in.
I asked how did that happen. Oh the strapped was too tight when the ld. shifted.
So they have 2 known damage claims this week

Well, apparently Cheyenne is measuring everything OD these days, as I found out today.
Told them 13'11" wide to save escorts on any detours, but was 14'1" according to their tape measure......oops.
Told them it was windy when I measured it etc, oh well.
Picking the escort up at 7am tomorrow for a jog around Cheyenne, then let the office decide what to do about Sinclair, and 2 miles of city streets. 9 miles total of secondary roads and two escorts. I pay tickets, they pay escorts and permits.
