Where is everyone #3

Back in Appleton. Ran a load of crane mats out to a windtower site near Dexter, Mn. yesterday. Going to run a load of counterweights up to Green Bay Monday morning then grab a crane boom section going back to Minnesota and then down to Iowa to move a crane 6 miles.

 

minding my own business at a a stop sign on the east side of Houston going to a shop , feel the truck jerk side to side , look at my rear view and see a guy in an F150 with his arms up like WTF? Thought to myself its only 0900 and im empty going to the shop on a Sat , too early for this.
Put on my emergency lights, walk towards the back of the truck to check on the 2 guys in the F150 and turns out they both had open containers... they said everythigns cool and took off like bats out of hell.

 

I park past Alaskan west up taylor way just past Lincoln ave on left is a dirt lot. You can see tracks across the street.

Been a few months since I've been up that away.

I'm assuming its the same outfit there in Tacoma.

 

In little rock about to head down to Victoria,tx not even looking out my side windows when I go thru Houston not sure why I hait going there now!

 

Had a good night at the wedding dance. No hangover which is kind of disappointing. Considering I made plans not to work today. A short load to Atlanta Indiana came up Friday afternoon so I loaded it. Mom made prime rib for lunch. Tonight I'll do paperwork and such. Tomorrow I'll take my short load dump it off come back and head for NC. Going to attempt to be empty in Denver Saturday

 

Well we went and saw my Dad.
They are still doing tests trying to figure out what is causing him the issues. He's filling up on fluid and that puts pressure on his stomach. He's not wanting to eat. Twice they have drained the fluid. 13 quarts
We got a room and was just about asleep when my email alert goes off.
Seems the rig company now wants to keep the rig in Pa. and use it some more. 52 lds. just went down the toliet.....
But that will allow me to stay up near my dad for a bit.
Found a pay place to park the trk. and trl. Will contact them again in the morning.
Also found out, my dad bought a bigger sail boat. Anybody know how to skipper one in case I need to learn how to use a sailboat?

That bites all the way around. Hope things get better.

I used to have my bareboat charter certificate for sailboats up to 42' bit haven't sailed anything in close to 10 years.

Sitting in Dexter, MI till morning then deliver tomorrow at 7 AM eastern. Then sit till the 14th to reload it for SC.

 

I ran my old Oliver down the track today. I had someone a whole lot prettier then me to run it through the parade.
