Aww shucks. The local wannabe mega-carrier has trucks without drivers and is paying me stupid money to haul stuff 20-40 miles. Glad I can help, here to serve ! Maybe you're mega customer will wise up one day and have people who work on docks hire guys who drive trucks instead of cubicle-dwellers without a clue try to run this stuff.

    MJ1657 and passingthru69 Thank this.

Probably too late now but the toll is coming back out on 80 and its $25 for 5 axles. if you shoot out on 580 theres no toll and just a small scale to deal with

Caldwell, ID at the J..... deliver in the AM then not sure from there but haven't sat for more than 15 minutes waiting for a reload so I'm sure something will come up

Well, loaded my machine in Monticello today. Almost didn't happen since the customer told the riggers it weighed 30k and the 41k crane lifted it and can't to 47k..... So that was a lot fun dragging across US20 to Freeport. Got unloaded and just pulled into the Petro in Rochelle, IL for the night

Well congrats there Meltom. You still going to be able to work from home or are you going to have to dress every day and go into an office?

yeah, that's the downside, I'm going to have to wear work appropriate clothing. Commute of 1.4 miles is going to be a killer too.

We are on our way to Kernersvillr for in the morning.
I saw a gearbox posted for Fri. where we unlded at. I told the wife I was going to call on it in a few as I really needed to go inside. Well I come back out and it was gone..Called the broker and said do you still have it?
He said oh crap I fought you were there. Yep one of our guys took it.
So I was was looking at different lds. then the phone rang. Take a look at the Deere lds. Not enough money for where I'm at. Ok thanks
Then a few mins. later a text msg. We are in a jam. Sorry not enough money I replied again.
Then another text, there is dead head money in there. I reply Not at the screen I'm looking at.
Well the phone rang and we talked. Seems they found some more money to cut loose, so off we go.
Ld. for K.C. in the morning and then after that go to Davenport and ld. for Galveston. Seems like the ld. we bid on earlier this week the lower bidder dropped the ball and at 4:30 today our office gets an email asking if we want the ld..
