Actually not even dealing with trucks, just planning who gets what milk and then assigning it to haulers to deliver it. Excited to do something new.

I appreciate the heads up on the 580 run. I saw the new bridge and paid for it. Lol. Was dropped right in town on 5th ave ramp 2a. . delivered to the condo buildings there. Took out some warehouses off the water. . Hard to take pics of sky crane. When your under it. Lol. Kicked it off and headed to gilroy.

It was a zoo getting out, I could of crushed 7 Prius cars in one turn. Lol. To bad cops were close.

Looks like I'll be babysitting for another weekend.

Berkey, OH 5 stops in western Michigan reload in Portage, IN and head back. I was supposed to be home working on my trailer. Taking next week off.

Slept late, left as the oldest kid got on the bus. Changed fuel filters, took my flat up to Albany and emptied out. Went down to north jersey loaded a bundle of specialty steel going back past the house. Then up to maybrook ta, swapped trailers with a landstar driver with a big bunk. Took his load of bridge piling a down here to Brooklyn. Been sitting here since 10pm with the fellow and his load plus a guy that was here ahead of us. Charging detention now on top of the "emergency last minute trailer retrieval" rate.... O well I'll see if I can turn $1k into $1.5k

I pretend I'm mad but free money is my favorite thing.

 

Willow City, ND for the night.

I called the builder on the way up and he said he would unload me when I got up here tonight. I'm waiting for him to show up and the farmer that's buying the equipment shows up. We start talking and I ask if there is a place to eat in town. He picks up his phone starts talking to someone and orders me dinner. I try to give him money and he refuses and heads to town to get my food. We unload and then we go to their dryer office to eat and have a couple cold drinks. After that he says you aren't going to sit in that truck out here all evening lets go to the home place and have some ice cream and a couple more beers and by the way my wife will have a pork chop dinner ready for everyone when we get there. We all sat around talking until I finally said I have to get to bed. Under protest because they said all guests are welcome to stay in their spare room he tossed me keys for his pickup so I could drive out to the bin site to crawl in my truck.

Kind of a long story but their are still some truly nice people in this world. I think most of them live in North Dakota.
