    Well, when I see what most call “cowboy” or “western” boots the first thing I think of is some Texas billionaire rancher who doesn’t know the first thing about an honest day’s work.

    Engineer boots on the other hand say “working man” to me.

    Just one knucklehead’s 1 1/2 cents....

    Think they still are, I'm assuming they are probably based on an old British style that modern Brits would likely refer to as "Wellies".

    Those look like Ariat's as well.

    The engineer style boot I am finding out is originally from the common style of boot firemen who worked on steam trains used to wear, then later became associated with biker/punk culture.

    Either way, I'm going to have to start shopping around, because there's no way I'm spending that much money on something I've never put on my foot first.

    The chain wallet does have a practical application, you know. ;)

    It keeps your wallet from falling out while you’re on a bike.

    Yep, when I was farming I refused to sell hay to horse people. They have zero idea about making hay but want to come in your barn and pick through it then complain about it.
