Young hand at the elevator telling me about his up coming road trip for the weekend. Ask if any place he should stop. I only had one recommendation.

So since I have been making big money pulling amazon loads, I hired @1951 ford , @ShooterK2 to due a full custom job. They said they wanted paid in beer and I gave it to them up front. What do you guys think.

As an employee, I've always prided myself in being able to get the job done and solve problems. I like the challenge of running loads most people won't do or say can't be done. I like being the early man, and being on time to my deliveries. To this day, I have never called in sick in 8 years. If the shipper calls me with an issue, I answer every time and handle it.

This isn't an issue of being a suck up or brown noser, its the point of taking pride in my work. So, is it so much to ask that if there is a problem created by a shipper miscommunication with the receiver, wouldn't they at least have the common courtesy to return a phone call or text? Running a multi stop load, getting up at 130 am to make a 6 am appt, then being told the appt isn't til 10 am and no one can be bothered to respond is very frustrating.

Sorry, just had to vent because it does no good to beat a dead horse with them.
