Sucks, I’m glad you’re ok though. No matter what you’re on the right side of the dirt.

No need to apologize, these are the little things that you store in your memory banks and recall in 10 years when for some strange reason you need it.

I hate wheel bearings. We’ve got an old ramp trailer that I want to get road worthy again. That’s my winter plan in the shop. It needs replumbed and rewired and brakes. Stupid thing has inboard brakes.... I hate wheel bearings.

Perhaps I should tell him about the surgery....

You will sit in a room, medical people milling around bothering you. You will be in a foul mood. They will roll you out, into an elevator to a basement level that’s refrigerator cool. A most beautiful woman will ask you if you want a blanket (take the blanket). She’s the anesthesiologist. She’s there to put you down. She puts the blanket around you and talk to you as if you’re the only Man on planet earth.

“Wake up! Wake up!” Some dude is waking you up. What happened to the pretty lady??? Waitaminute, you can’t feel Binky! WTF??? If that dude wasn’t standing over you, you could open your pants and see if Binky is still there!

Man, that anesthesia really did a number on Binky...he seems so small and lifeless. You will sit in recovery for a few minutes and then they will wheel you back to your room. The whole clan will be in there. Be nice, these are your people.

Peterbilt is sending new parts based on serial number. It will be interesting to see if perhaps the spindle had been changed out, and the other shop just went with what the book says.

    Still no excuse.

Pete dealer is sending Stemco seals, as well as a tool to install them. Parts guy said Stemco tend to hold up better on older trucks that may have more wear.

I've never seen a seal that required a special tool to install it. Guess we'll figure it out tomorrow.

Stuff like this is getting out of hand.
My attitude has gotten progressively worse against law enforcement the past few years.
Badge toting God complex officers like this ought to get a handful of aluminum roofing nails throwed in there personal driveway every weekend for a couple years. Just to prove a point.
