Thanks for asking guys, I took the worst of the accident, my upper arm is shattered and I have surgery Monday, doctor says 8 weeks of downtime...5 months if I try to let it heal without surgery.
Never had surgery, so I'm as nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs, but my doctor is the orthopedic surgeon for the Pittsburgh pirates and US Olympic team...he said it's only an hour and a half job and I'll be back home after one night.

Dad is banged up but hes okay.

Other driver made a left turn directly infront of us, PSP cited him for careless turning in cause of an accident...which I hate to but I'll be in touch with a lawyer, I stand to lose way too much because of his negligence.

We're supposed to be relaxing...... Taking it easy...

But some dumbaxx ordered seventy ton of clay.... So I been bouncing around in the skiddy past couple days.

Went to see the hairballs tonight (rock cover show band) and seen a real good band at the beer tent (even had a steel guitar)

Got back to the lake and mama started having chest pains...she was driving so was drinking....

Up keeping a eye on her.....she resting now....

Tractor pull tomorrow night....Easton Corbin Saturday night.

Hopefully mama gets to feeling better.

@wore out , I looked at the trip meter wiring in my 379. It looks like the four wires in the harness are:

1. Hot (ignition)
2. Speedo sensor
3. Other speedo sensor (shouldn't matter which his which)
4. Ground

Not sure how I managed two photos. Anyway, there should be a twisted pair of wires that match the two center wires in the photo. I believe that you can tap into these and then add a hot and a ground.

I will try the good trip meter in the 379 tomorrow if I get a chance.

Anybody see anything wrong here?

I had a shop replace steer axle bearings a while ago. Put new steer tires on today and tire shop said lots of bearing play on driver's side. Brought it home to investigate and found this. The hub is all the way in here.

Guess we'll put all new bearings, races, and seals in tomorrow............ourselves.

Leaving out 1.5 hours late, trailer has a flat off the rim because who has time to post trip these days??? 610 miles to go, drop and hook probably another jacked up trailer, but at least its Friday.

At least I had the foresight to pay extra yesterday and have FedEx deliver my racing heads after 5, although I should have been back today by 1. So take that, universe!

Pulled me over because a chain was “loose” then said he was going to weigh me. Scaled out perfect, axle spacings were perfect then he says I’m 14’ wide, I said nope so he said let’s check again 11’ 10”, he said “oops I did my math wrong” because instead of pulling a a tape across the draft arms he used a straight edge and measured from the trailer on each side then added them together. So after that failed he got out his height stick and checked my height. I was permitted at 13’ 11” and he said I was 14’ 2”. I said no way. At this point my boss shows up and sees me standing up on the scraper. He tells the deputy that his pole isn’t plumb and the top isn’t level so those two screw with it as I’m dropping a tape and this is what I got.

So then he literally says “well I’ve got 13 foot 11 and a half inches” and that’s in violation. So he busts me back to 80,000 and writes me a $1900 ticket.

We’re fighting this.
