Loaded for Monday delivery..

 

Loaded my wagon for Monday delivery, then got a call about a hot load.... nice to have freinds with a empty flatbed!

 

Stopped over at Big Charlie's Truck Plaza in Virginia Beach. Odd place. Gotta pay to park (I dont mind that) and there's a "soul food restaurant" there. Got the sausage and eggs and home fries. Don't know what it was about it, but you know how you really dont write home about a sausage and egg and home fries special? Well, I'm gonna write home about it. They were THAT good.

There's a Wendy's next door and a Waffle House across the street and an Aberdeen Steak House. That Waffle House is nasty. Nasty. Ever walk into a place and the door is nasty, the floor is sticky and nasty and the tables too? Dont eat there. If you dont want to walk in the place, you sure as heck dont want to eat there.
Now, that steakhouse....World Class! Yes, it IS pricey, but the premium steakhouses are. Minimum $50. I did $100, but I enjoy life. Cant afford to eat there all the time, but I am glad I had that experience.

 

Nothing I’m real proud of it but it’s tight, doesn’t billow, and no holes for the first 350 miles.

Must be doing something right.
