A-train is a converter dolly with fifth wheel hooked to a pintel hitch on the lead. B-train is lead trailer with built in fifth wheel. C-train is a fixed converter dolly with fifth wheel.

B-trains are the most stable of the three on the road, but A-trains are the most common.

    Do it!

    LOL ;)

I think I've gotten mild frostbite once or twice. My hands can't handle anything below 0 for very long. Even with good gloves I'm good to about -15 for 20 minutes or so. As much as I loved being in a field truck I just physically could not hack it anymore in the winter. I'll consider getting back into a field truck when I'm done up in the north.

I've only ever seen one C-train in person, and didn't get close enough to examine it.

I think you can also lock the pup into the dolly to make it essentially a big single trailer to make backing up easier.

He’s scared of that bridge? Ha, we go over that one every day on some of our runs. The real fun begins when you get down the other side.
